Rush Wright Associates worked closely with the City of Yarra on the new public space on Kerr Street in Fitzroy. The pilot project building upon our work with the Brunswick Street Masterplan with the City of Yarra. The Outstand will provide additional public seating, increased greenery. Early concept designs above and below.

Contemporary artist Kate Jones was engaged to create a bespoke ceramic slips and glazes for the platform.

The existing Plane Tree is incorporated into a pair of seating and stage platform which become a feature hot spot in Fitzroy as a response to residents, business and community members’ voice.
